The lure is fitted with two blades which alternate the direction of swim and a small blade on the rear of the body which adds turbulence to the wake of the lure. A rattle system adds a noise attraction to the lure and a weight transfer system to help accuracy and distance when casting. The hooks are also positioned in such a way as to reduce hook pulls. Particularly effective on bass and pike the Pompadour will take any predator hunting in the upper layers of the water.
